At EFP Opticians, we love being part of our chosen neighborhoods.  One of our neighbors in the Gold Coast is Porchlight Music Theater which now holds residence at the Ruth Page Center for the Arts.  Two great organizations just south of the boutique at 1016 North Dearborn Street.

Porchlight’s newest production is “A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder” directed by Stephen Schellhardt.  As Schellhardt is quoted, “You have to love a production cheeky enough to admonish the audience to depart before it begins.”  We were lucky enough to attend the opening night performance, and we feel this is a must see production.  It is beautifully staged with outstanding performances by the entire cast.  Actor Matt Crowle masterfully entertains the audience with nine different characters during the performance each as interesting as the next.   And we can not forget to mention the eyewear in the production is on point!
